Yooth Wellness ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through yoothwellness.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.
Yooth Wellness is a medical aesthetics and wellness practice operated by Sofia Gadelov, FNP-BC, serving clients in New York and Florida.
An important distinction
This Privacy Policy covers information collected through our website.
Information created or held as part of your care as a patient is different. It is governed by the consent documents you sign with us and by the healthcare privacy and confidentiality laws that apply in the state where you are treated. Those protections are stronger than the ones described here, and nothing on this page reduces them.
The short version: this page is about being a visitor to our website. Your chart is covered separately.

Information we collect
Information you give us
Contact form. Your name, email address, phone number, and anything you write in the message field. Before you can submit the form you must agree to the following:
This form is not for health information, and I consent to my contact information being used to respond to my inquiry. My message will be sent to this clinic via unencrypted email. Do not include symptoms, diagnoses, medications, or other sensitive details.
Booking. When you schedule an appointment you are directed to our booking system, Jane, at yooth.janeapp.com. Information you enter there, including your name, contact details, appointment preferences, and any health information requested during intake, is collected and stored by Jane on our behalf. That information is treated as part of your patient record, not as website data.
Direct contact. If you call, text, or email us, we receive whatever information you choose to share.
Information about your health
Please do not send health information, medical history, photographs of a medical nature, or other sensitive details through the website contact form or by ordinary email. Email is not a secure or encrypted channel. If you need to share clinical information, we will direct you to a secure method or discuss it at your appointment.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, our platform and service providers automatically record standard technical information, including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring page, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. We use it for security, troubleshooting, and understanding general site usage.
We do not attempt to use this information to work out who you are as an individual, and we do not combine it with your patient record.
How we use information

- to provide and improve our services
- to send information you have asked for
- to measure how the website is performing
- to invite patients to leave a review after a visit
- to protect the security of the site, including preventing spam and abuse

We do not use contact form submissions for marketing.
Text messages
We use text messages for practical, care-related reasons: appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling changes, and occasional updates about your visit. Automated appointment messages are sent through Jane, our scheduling system. We may also text you directly from a practice mobile number, and you can text us back. Those direct messages are ordinary text messages sent over standard mobile networks.
How we get your number and your consent. You give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages when you book an appointment, complete intake, or provide your number to us directly. We do not buy phone numbers, we do not use rented or purchased lists, and we do not text people who have not given us their number.
Consent is not a condition of care. You never have to agree to text messages in order to be seen, to book, or to receive treatment. If you would rather we call or email you instead, tell us and we will.
Message frequency and cost. Message frequency varies and depends on your appointments. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan and carrier.
How to stop. For automated appointment messages, reply STOP and you will be unsubscribed from them. For direct messages from us, just tell us you would like the texting to stop. You can say so by text, by phone at 516-641-6329, or by email. However you ask, and whichever number you ask on, we will honor it for both. You may still receive an appointment message that was already scheduled for a short period afterward. Opting out of text messages has no effect on your care, and you can still book, be seen, and reach us by phone or email.
Text messaging is not a secure or encrypted channel. We keep text conversations to scheduling and practical matters wherever possible. If you need to discuss symptoms, results, or anything clinical in detail, we will move that conversation to your appointment or to a secure method. Please do not use text for anything urgent. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
Texts about your care are part of your record. Where a text conversation relates to your care, we treat it as part of your patient record rather than as website information, which means it is covered by the stronger protections described at the top of this policy.
Delivery. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How we handle mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services, who use that information solely to deliver the messages.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We share information only in these circumstances:
- Service providers. Companies that operate parts of our website and practice on our behalf, listed below. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Legal requirements. Where we are required to disclose information by law, court order, subpoena, or a lawful request from a government or regulatory authority, or where disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of any person.
- Professional obligations. Where disclosure is required or permitted under applicable healthcare or professional licensing rules.
- Business transfer. If the practice is sold, merged, or reorganized, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to the protections in this policy.
Third-party services we use
Jane (booking and practice management). Appointment scheduling, intake, patient records, and automated appointment text messages are handled through Jane. Information you enter into the booking system is stored and processed by Jane on our behalf and under our instructions, subject to Jane's own security and confidentiality commitments.
Jane Websites (website hosting). This website is hosted on the Jane Websites platform, which processes standard server and traffic information as part of delivering the site.
Google Workspace (practice email and documents). Our practice email, calendar, and internal documents are hosted on Google Workspace under a signed HIPAA Business Associate Agreement. That agreement covers Google Workspace only. It does not cover this website.
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (website measurement). We use Google Tag Manager to manage the measurement tags that run on this site. Tag Manager is a container that loads those tags. It does not collect analytics information about you on its own. Inside it we run Google Analytics, which we use to understand how the site is used in aggregate, including visits, pages viewed, and general location at a city level. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Google reCAPTCHA. Our contact form is protected by reCAPTCHA to prevent automated abuse. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information and sends it to Google for analysis. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Google Static Maps. Our contact page displays map images generated by Google's Static Maps service. Because these are images requested from Google's servers, Google receives your IP address and the fact that you loaded the page, under its own privacy policy. They are not interactive maps and do not set Google Maps cookies.
Cookies
Our website and the services above use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site functioning, maintain security, and measure site usage.
- Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working and protect the contact form. These cannot be turned off.
- Analytics cookies help us understand how the site is used. The opt-out link in the Google Analytics entry above will disable them.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may cause parts of the site, including the contact form and booking links, to work incorrectly.
Photographs
We sometimes take clinical photographs as part of treatment, and we sometimes ask permission to use before-and-after images publicly. We never publish an identifiable image of you without your separate written consent, given on our treatment consent forms. Consent to treatment is not consent to publication, and you can withdraw photo permission at any time by contacting us.
Reviews
After a visit we may invite you by email to leave a public review. Leaving a review is entirely optional, it has no effect on your care, and anything you choose to write publicly is governed by that review platform, not by us. We do not disclose that you are a patient when we send the invitation, and we do not post your information to review sites ourselves.
Data security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect the information we hold, and we work with service providers who maintain security practices appropriate to the data they handle. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we discover a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by New York and Florida law.

How long we keep information
We keep contact form submissions and correspondence only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterward. Analytics data is retained on a rolling basis under our Google Analytics settings.
Patient records are retained for the period required by applicable New York and Florida law and professional standards, which is generally longer than the periods above.
Your choices and rights
You may:
- ask what personal information we hold about you
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
- ask us to delete information, subject to our legal and professional record-keeping obligations
- ask us to stop using your information for a particular purpose
- opt out of any non-essential communications at any time
We will not treat you differently, or refuse or reduce your care, because you exercised a privacy right.
Requests relating to your patient record are handled under the healthcare privacy rules that apply to your care, including your right to obtain a copy of your record.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law. Contact us and we will respond in accordance with the law that applies to you.

Children's privacy
Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Our website links to other sites, including our booking system at yooth.janeapp.com and our related site at yoothwell.com. Those sites operate under their own terms and privacy policies. This policy does not apply to them, and we encourage you to read the policies of any site you visit.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of the page. Material changes will be brought to your attention where required by law. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Terms of Use
Your use of this website is also governed by our Terms of Use, which explain the rules for using the site and form part of the agreement between us.
